ArmInfo. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi thanked several countries, including Armenia, for their assistance in repatriating Iranians.
"Many Iranians abroad found themselves in a difficult situation in terms of returning home. Many foreign partners assisted us in their evacuation. I must thank the governments of Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey, and even Saudi Arabia for their cooperation in their evacuation. Our neighbors, including Pakistan, also provided significant assistance," the Iranian Foreign Minister wrote in a Telegram post.
He added that cooperation had also been established in the delivery of humanitarian aid, such as medicines and food. "I would like to emphasize that we welcomed any country that wanted to help, not because we needed it, but to show the world our solidarity with the Iranian people," Araghchi noted.
Earlier, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that Yerevan had sent humanitarian aid to Iran. He added that this included medical supplies.
