


ArmInfo. Today, March 30, a major chain accident occurred in Armenia's Ararat region. Around 9:10 AM, a KamAZ truck, a Nissan Tiida, a Mercedes, an Opel, a Toyota RAV4, and a tow truck collided on the Yerevan-Yeraskh-Meghri highway.
According to the crime reporting website Shamshyan.com, as a result of the collision, the KamAZ overturned and ended up in the middle of the road. Two people were taken to the Ararat Medical Center as a result of the accident, where they were initially treated by local residents. Before the investigation team arrived, the Ararat Police Department received a call from the hospital stating that one of the victims had died without regaining consciousness. The Vediysky Investigative Department has opened a criminal investigation into the incident, which is working to establish the identities of the vehicle owners, the injured, and the deceased. With the exception of the KamAZ truck, all the vehicles were parked, some of which were reduced to rubble.
