
ArmInfo. More than half of respondents in Armenia side with Iran in the war unleashed by the US and Israel. This is according to the "Bazar-Blot" poll by the consulting company MPG.
When asked whose side they are on in the war over Iran, 57.9% of respondents said they support Iran, 3.3% said the US and Israel, 35.9% said neither, and 2.9% were undecided.
When asked who bears the greatest responsibility for this war, 36.7% named the US and Israel equally, 23.4% said the US, 13.8% said Israel, 3.2% said Iran, and another 23% were undecided. At the same time, when asked whether they were generally satisfied or dissatisfied with the Armenian government's policy in response to the Iran-Israel-US war, 38.7% said they were neutral, 27.2% were satisfied, 23.3% were dissatisfied, and another 10.9% were undecided.
When asked whether they saw risks of Armenia being drawn into a war over Iran, 15.1% said definitely yes, 22.7% said mostly yes, 14% were confident that Armenia would be able to mitigate these risks, 34.9% said they saw no such risks, since, according to them, Armenia has good relations with both Iran and the US, and another 13.4% were undecided.
It should be noted that the survey was conducted via telephone calls to residents of the Republic of Armenia from April 1 to 3 of this year. The sample size was 100 people, with a margin of error of +/- 3%. In 2011, MPG became the official representative in Armenia of the Gallup Association, one of the most prestigious and independent public opinion research organizations in the world. Since 2003, MPG has implemented over 800 projects of varying scales in the sociological and marketing research market.
