ArmInfo.  A public criminal prosecution has been initiated against Artem Khachatryan, the son of former Finance Minister and former Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Gagik Khachatryan. According to Armenian media, this was stated in a statement by Gagik Khachatryan's legal team.

ArmInfo. The Investigative Committee (IC) of Armenia has announced the detainment of political scientist Alen Ghevondyan, who faces charges of "calling for the seizure of power and the overthrow of the constitutional order via social media."

ArmInfo.  The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia reported that the 12th Territorial Electoral Commission has invalidated the voting results of polling station No. 12/13.

ArmInfo.  Supporters of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) held a protest outside the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) over over what they termed the "theft of votes" required for the political force to enter parliament. They are  demanding the Commission restore justice and hold a repeat vote  at  those polling stations where the results were previously annulled.

ArmInfo.The Republican Party of Armenia, led by third President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, still believes it is necessary to fight the country's  current authorities.

ArmInfo.The participation of Russian-Armenians in Armenia's electoral processes is the focus of the country's law enforcement system. RA Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan told reporters on June 12, responding to a question about how many Russian-Armenians participated in the nationwide vote.

ArmInfo.The Central Electoral Commission's (CEC) decision to annul the voting results at polling stations where the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) received the most votes is nothing less than direct interference in the electoral  process, calling into question the legitimacy of the upcoming  parliamentary elections. PAP spokesperson Iveta Tonoyan stated this  at a press conference in Yerevan on June 12.

ArmInfo. The refusal of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia and the authorities to hold a re-run of the polling stations where the results were annulled would mean crossing all democratic red lines. Narek Karapetyan, a  member of the board of the "Strong Armenia" party, stated this in a  video message published on Facebook.

ArmInfo.At its extraordinary meeting on June 11, the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia annulled the voting results at polling stations No. 10/51 and No. 35/65 of the June 7 parliamentary elections.

ArmInfo.The RA authorities are trying by all means possible to prevent the Prosperous Armenia Party from entering the country's parliament. The party's press secretary, Iveta Tonoyan, wrote this on her Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  The statement by Armenia's third president, Serzh Sargsyan, claiming that "Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is not running for a third term because the previous elections were snap elections," could strip the opposition of its sole political justification for removing him from power.  Political commentator Karpis Pashoyan, who participated in the recent  parliamentary elections alongside Edmon Marukyan, leader of the  Bright Armenia party, wrote  on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. The people of Armenia cast their votes in a crucial election for their country's future and, in many ways, for the future of the South Caucasus  region, as noted in a statement issued by a group of European  Parliament members regarding the elections held in the country.

ArmInfo.  For the political opposition to accept parliamentary mandates despite  widespread violations during the June 7 elections is, to put it  mildly, illogical, according to Arpine Hovhannisyan, former  Vice-Speaker of the Armenian Parliament and former Minister of  Justice.

ArmInfo. The Investigative Committee of Armenia has announced the initiation of a criminal case regarding the death of an officer of the country's  Armed Forces.

ArmInfo. The main goal of the Armenian authorities should be to create a qualitatively new state. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a government meeting on June 11.

ArmInfo. The victory of incumbent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's party in Armenia's parliamentary elections does not give him the right to make any major changes in political course, either domestically or in foreign  policy.

ArmInfo.  The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will not tolerate a situation where Armenia takes a consumerist stance towards the union and at the same time prepares for European integration, Russian Ministry of Foreign  Affairs (MFA) spokesperson Maria Zakharova said during a press  briefing on June 10.
