At the annual  International Eurasia Financial and Banking Elite Prize held in  Moscow on the eve of which is held by the Eurasian Cooperation  Financial and Banking Association (FBA EAU), Chairman of the Board of  ARARATBANK Ashot Osipyan won the Banker of the Year award. A. Osipyan  received this honorable award for his significant contribution to the  development of the national banking system.

ArmInfo. The monetary compensation for renting housing to contract servicemen in 2019 will  increase by 915 million drams. On November 22, the Government of  Armenia approved the procedure, as well as the size of the monetary  compensation for the rent paid to the contract servicemen, if it is  impossible to provide a service apartment.

ArmInfo. April 3, the dollar issue of registered coupon bonds of ARARATBANK in the amount of $ 8 million was listed and entered the main list (Abond) of the Nasdaq  OMX Armenia stock exchange. As the press service of the exchange informs, the bonds are admitted to conclusion of targeted trading and repo deals.

ArmInfo.The international authoritative publication Global Finance recognizes ARARATBANK as the best bank in Armenia for trade financing for the third consecutive year. ArmInfo.January 9 2017, the dollar issue of the nominal coupon bonds of Ameriabank was listed on the Nasdaq OMX Armenia stock exchange, entered the main list of Abond  and allowed to enter into targeted trading and repo deals. As the press service of the exchange told ArmInfo, this issue  includes 100,000 nominal coupon bonds (ISIN - AMAMRBB28ER8), with a  par value of $ 100, with coupon yield of 5%, with a circulation term  of 27 months.

ArmInfo. Converse Bank completed the placement of the second tranche of dollar coupon bonds in the amount of $ 4 million before the scheduled date on November  27, thereby summarizing the issue of the first issue with a total  volume of $ 10 million.

ArmInfo.The second stage of Converse Bank's promotion for MasterCard cardholders has been launched. On the first tranche of the USD issue, the primary placement started on May 5 this year and ended on May 16, and on May 26, the entry into the listing list was held.

ArmInfo.The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) provided 2 loans to ARARATBANK in national currency, the total amount of which is  equivalent to $ 10 million. The signing of the respective loan  agreement between ARARATBANK and EBRD took place on September 4.

ArmInfo. VTB Bank (Armenia), together with the international payment system MasterCard first in the banking market of Armenia launches Noncontact PayPass MasterCard payment cards.  The press service of the Bank told ArmInfo, by means of contactless cards MasterCard PayPass customers can very simply pay for purchases on the card via POS-terminals equipped with contactless technology.

ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank plans to enter the bond market of Armenia with the medium-term USD tranche within the next 2 months. As Stepan Zakinyan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for the financial part of ACBA-Credit Agricole  Bank, told ArmInfo correspondent, the circulation period of the USD  tranche will be 2.5 years. "This will be an experimental release,  which will enable us to understand the market reaction and investors'  appetites," he said.

This opinion was voiced by the chief treasurer of  the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) Christopher Best on  June 29 during a press conference timed to the placement of the first  AMD BSTDB bond issue, underwriters and market makers of which were  ARARATBANK and Future Capital Market".

ArmInfo.Converse Bank first USD trench issue amounting $ 6 million passed first listing on NasDaq OMX Armenia and entered Abond. As the stock's press service told ArmInfo, the first USD tranche of the Bank (ISIN - AMCOVSB22ER9) is allowed to  conclude targeted trade and repo-transactions.   

ArmInfo. The third USD issue of the nominal coupon bonds of Ameriabank (ISIN - AMAMRBB24ER7) on April 20 this year, passed listing on the NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The bonds of this issue, like the previous USD and AMD  bonds, are included in the main exchange list (Abond). In total,  Ameriabank carried out four bond issues - 3 USD bonds (2 in the  amount of $ 15 million with coupon yield of 6.75% and 5.6%, 1 - $ 5  million at a yield of 5.75%) and 1 AMD in volume 1 billion AMD on  coupon yield of 10.75%.
