ArmInfo.  Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan participated in the official opening ceremony of the Eurosatory 2026 International Defence and Security Exhibition  in Paris. Papikyan  announced this on his social media accounts.

ArmInfo. It's time for Armenia's opposition to offer the Armenian people a popular, comprehensive, and legitimate alternative to power, with a broad political and non- partisan, collective new leadership. Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovhannisyan wrote this on his Facebook page, reacting to the Central  Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia's announcement of the final  results of the parliamentary elections held in the country on June 7.

ArmInfo.  The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia issued a lengthy statement regarding its refusal to schedule re-runs at three polling stations where the parliamentary election results were previously annulled. As a result, Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia party failed to enter parliament by a mere 160 votes. As a result, the picture of the new parliament  has taken on a completely different appearance. The CEC of Armenia  stated that they should not automatically schedule re-runs after the  annulment of the voting results at any polling station.

ArmInfo. The 13th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Austrian Commission was held on 12th of June, 2026, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Representatives of domestic government agencies and business circles participated, as well as a visiting delegation led by Elisabeth Weissenböck, Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy, and Tourism of the Republic of Austria.

ArmInfo. Nikol Pashinyan’s ruling Civil Contract party has secured 64 seats in the Armenian parliament, while two opposition forces have obtained a combined total of 41 seats. This was revealed in a statement by the head of the Central Electoral Commission, Vahagn Hovakimyan, who presented the final voting results of the parliamentary elections held in the country on June 7.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian Cinema Fund reported that the French company Kissani Films, citing an agreement signed in the 1990s, claimed exclusive rights to approximately 250 films that constitute part of the Armenian  cinematic heritage.

ArmInfo.  A public criminal prosecution has been initiated against Artem Khachatryan, the son of former Finance Minister and former Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Gagik Khachatryan. According to Armenian media, this was stated in a statement by Gagik Khachatryan's legal team.

ArmInfo.  The violations recorded during the regular parliamentary elections in Armenia are sufficient to declare them illegitimate, as stated by Armenia's  second president, leader of the "Armenia" bloc, Robert Kocharyan,  speaking to journalists.

ArmInfo.  An Armenian court has extended the pretrial detention of Captain Yeghishe Hakobyan, a defendant in the case involving the fatal fire at a military barracks in Azat village, for an additional three months. The ruling was handed down during today's session by Judge Vardan Harutyunyan, the  Court of General Jurisdiction of First Instance of the Gegharkunik  Region.  "Having heard the arguments from both sides, the court has  decided to extend the detention of the accused, Yeghishe Hakobyan,  for another three months," the judge announced during the hearing.
