ArmInfo. On June 12, the "Strong Armenia" bloc appealed to the Central Election Commission demanding that the results of the June 7 parliamentary elections be  declared invalid.

ArmInfo. New conditions came into effect on March 1, 2026, under which foreign citizens arriving in Russia may be placed on the registry of controlled persons and subject to deportation. This was announced by Tatevik Bezhanyan, migration program expert at  Armenian Caritas, at a press conference in Yerevan on March 4.

ArmInfo.  Starting January 1, 2026, the environmental fees for whitefish fishing will triple, from 65 drams per kilogram to 200 drams. Lusine Avetisyan, Head of the Strategic Policy Department at the Ministry of  Environment,  announced this at a press conference on November 19.

ArmInfo.  The worst-case scenario if Armenia ignores the Stockholm Arbitration Court's decision will be the obligation to pay the full amount of the claim with interest,  which corresponds to the size of the country's annual healthcare  expenditures and will increase the level of public debt by at least  2.5-3 percentage points. This is what political scientist Suren  Surenyants writes in connection with the consideration of the  investment dispute around the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) by  the Stockholm Arbitration Court. In this vein, he cited several  examples of similar disputes that ended in the country's favor.

An exchange of views took place regarding the ongoing current crisis situation.  Atabekyan confirmed the Republic of Armenia's support to fraternal Lebanon.

This statement was made by Semyon Baghdasarov, the Director of the Center for the Study of the Middle East and Central Asia.  In this vein, he posed the question to himself: Turkey and Azerbaijan are insisting that the Armenian leadership abandon the Armenian Diaspora.
