ArmInfo. Russia will not shy away from substantive political dialogue with Georgia if Tbilisi is ready for it, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing.
"Regarding political dialogue, I can repeat: if and when Tbilisi is ready for it, Moscow will not shy away from substantive discussions. The policy of refusing dialogue with Russia, like the tragic events of 2008, is part of the legacy of the criminal and reckless Saakashvili regime. [...] I believe that Tbilisi, having realized the West's true goals for their country, is beginning to understand that the key to Georgia's well-being lies not in confrontation, but in cooperation with Russia," she said.
