Europe values Armenia`s sovereignty and security - Macron

ArmInfo.  Europe values Armenia's sovereignty and security. French President Emmanuel Macron stated this in a conversation with journalists on May 4.

According to him, European security challenges extend beyond the  European Union. "We also confirmed this during the Copenhagen  summit," the French president said.

Responding to questions from French journalists regarding the  conflict between Iran and the United States, Emmanuel Macron  emphasized that the most sustainable solution would be a full opening  of the Strait of Hormuz. The French president noted that the United  States first declared a ceasefire with Iran and then announced a  blockade of the strait. "If they want to reopen it, very good."  "We've been talking about this from the very beginning," the French  president said, noting that, one way or another, Paris will not  participate in any military operations in the Middle East.

Macron also believes it's important that the ceasefire be observed in  Lebanon.
