ArmInfo. The campaign headquarters of Armenia's ruling Civil Contract Party will begin their election campaign on May 8. This was announced today by party leader and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a trip to the Syunik region of the republic on the "Happy Bus."
According to him, in addition to the "Happy Bus" trips, campaign representatives will launch an active campaign in virtually all populated areas. For this purpose, a campaign booklet has already been prepared, featuring a photo of the ruling party team and a short link to its platform. Pashinyan noted that the booklet also includes the party's website, where the full platform can be found.
The Prime Minister recalled that the Civil Contract party is the 16th on the ballot. He called on the party headquarters to begin an active election campaign within the previously agreed-upon timeframe. "We don't need to wait for the 'Happy Bus' to reach a particular locality. On the contrary, we must conduct very active campaigning beforehand to identify issues of concern to citizens that can be addressed during our rallies in the regions. The strategy will be as follows: first, meetings with residents of populated areas, followed by rallies in regional centers," the head of government said, adding that the rally in Syunik will take place on May 9 at 7:30 PM.
As a reminder, parliamentary elections in Armenia will be held on June 7. Nineteen political forces - 17 parties and two blocs - are participating.
