ArmInfo. Internal hostility in Armenia has become so extreme that it has deprived citizens of even the slightest ability to think clearly and analyze. This is what Professor Gevork Danielyan, Doctor of Law, writes in his article.
According to him, the real value of the clearly staged terrorist threat video should be assessed, at least in light of the chronology of its appearance and the possible developments it may contribute to.
"Firstly, just a few days ago, a resolution by the Azerbaijani authorities was circulated at the UN, attempting to accuse Armenia of committing terrorist acts involving mercenaries. It's worth noting that the Azerbaijani press has become adept at producing and distributing anti-Armenian videos in the Armenian language. But instead of confronting this, our country immediately resorted to mutual accusations over the aforementioned video and threats to cancel the elections. Meanwhile, given the current balance of power, I believe other questions are unnecessary," the professor noted.
Recall that the day before, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan showed footage of masked men speaking "with a Karabakh accent" and threatening to kill him. Pashinyan called them cowards and promised to "take off their masks himself." Several political forces in the country admitted that the video was staged in this regard.
It should be noted that the next parliamentary elections will be held in Armenia on June 7, in which 19 political forces - 17 parties and 2 blocs - have registered to participate.
