ArmInfo. Phishing messages containing malicious links continue to be circulated in Armenia, falsely claiming to be from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Republic of Armenia and other government bodies. These messages are being sent from foreign phone numbers, according to an official statement issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The ministry noted that the current wave of attacks specifically targets iPhone users, who are receiving these fraudulent messages via the iMessage system. "We once again strongly urge citizens not to respond to these messages, refrain from opening any attached links, and never provide personal or banking information. It is crucial to immediately block and mark the senders' phone numbers or addresses as spam," the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
