ArmInfo. Physical distance and the walls of a Baku prison cannot separate Ruben Vardanyan from his family and the Armenian people, as stated by Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party. "Dear Ruben, three years have already passed since your family, relatives, and friends have been able to personally congratulate you on your birthday or shake your hand. However, physical distance and the walls of a Baku prison cannot separate you from your relatives and your people.
Your presence and your deeds are intertwined with the daily life of our homeland, our people," Karapetyan wrote on his Facebook page on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of birth of the philanthropist and former State Minister of Artsakh, who has been unlawfully detained in Baku since September 2023.
Karapetyan added that true patriotism is not defined by mere words, but by assuming responsibility for the prosperity and security of one's people. "By your life and actions, you have shown what it means to be a true patriot, who is ready to face the greatest hardships. I wish you endurance, good health, and strength of spirit. Your return and the return of our other friends is a matter of honor for us all," the politician stated.
