ArmInfo. Former Artsakh State Minister Artak Beglaryan questions whether the Armenian government is planning additional mass emigration of Artsakh residents from Armenia, given that the approved government program only provides housing to 10,000 families over the next five years.
On his Facebook page, Beglaryan drew attention to subparagraph 7, paragraph 4, chapter 5 of the government program, which emphasizes that "the program for providing housing to 10,000 families displaced from Karabakh will be continued."
"When the housing program was approved in 2024, it was stated that it was designed for approximately 25,000 families." Currently, about 4,000 families have benefited from the program, and during the elections, when such a provision was included in the ruling party's election program, about 2,500 families took advantage of it. By the way, the term of this housing program is also scheduled for the end of 2028, that is, half the term of the government program. Now a logical question arises about what will happen to the remaining 11,000-12,000 families of Artsakh out of 25,000, if the government does not plan to provide them with housing, despite the loud assurances of the authorities. Is the plan to encourage emigration, abandon the obligations assumed, or return part of the population of Artsakh to their native homes? ”- the former state minister noted.
