Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia: In the first half of 2026,  community police officers solved approximately 600 cases

ArmInfo. In the first half of 2026, community police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs  of Armenia solved approximately 600 criminal cases. This was reported  by the press service of the police of the Ministry of Internal  Affairs of Armenia.

The ministry reported that as a result of measures taken and outreach  efforts, illegally stored weapons and ammunition were seized from  circulation. Operational and investigative measures also yielded  results:  wanted individuals were located. "These figures reflect not  only crimes prevented and solved, but also lives saved. During the  reporting period, thanks to the rapid response and effective actions  of community police officers, suicides were prevented.

Officers are always available to assist the citizen, ready to provide  necessary assistance. An incident recorded in recent days is further  proof of this approach. A security guard returned $3,600 lost to a  citizen," the police press service added.
