Giro Manoyan: Armenian side must demand Minsk intermediaries` clear  statements on Baku provocations 

ArmInfo.The Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutsyun's  "Armenian Cause" Office head Giro Manoyan considers the escalation on the Armenian-Azerbaiji contact line initiated by Azerbaijan to be another provocation in the  eve of the expected meeting of Foreign Ministers of Armenia and  Azerbaijan 

He think Armenia should use all the possibilities to sober Baku.  Particularly, he finds necessary to address the OSCE Minsk  Intermediaries with a demand of a clear and addressed statements on  such incidents. "It is necessary the Minsk Intermediaties to name the  things as they are and not to make unjust and one-sided statements,  as it was after the previous Azerbaijani sabotage", he said 

 "Especially now, when Baku negotiates on relaunch of relations with  EU, Azerbaijan must be treated more demandingly", he said. Manoyan  also noted that he sees no possibilities for any development in  Karabakh settlement before the Parliament elections in Armenia.  Wherein, according to him, periodical escalation on the contact line  between Azerbaijani and Karabakhian Armed Forces is possible.    

To note, recently Azerbaijan made a new provocation on the contact  line. It took place after the Azerbaijani Armed Forces did not take  the OSCE Mission to the first lines during the contact line  monitoring. From 17:00 to 18:50, from the emplacements close to its  settlements, the enemy opened fire form 85millimeter guns at the  positions of the Armenian side. Besides the Artillery, both on  North(Talish) and East directions, the Azerbaijani side used mortars  of various calibers. The NKR side says the responsibility for the  provocation lays on the Azerbaijani side. 

To recall, earlier, the Russian Co-Chairmen of the Minsk Group Igor  Popov said that the intermediaries are ready to organize a mutual  meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the  subject of the Karabakh Conflict settlement in the fields of Munich  Security Conference in February. Nalbandyan and Mamedyarov already  agreed the meeting.
