
ArmInfo. A telephone conversation took place between the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Russia Jeyhun Bayramov and Sergey Lavrov, Azerbaijani media reports with reference to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
The parties discussed the current situation in the region, including the implementation of the tripartite statements of November 10, 2020 and January 11, 2021.
During the telephone conversation, the ministers exchanged views on the situation around Ukraine, as well as other issues of mutual interest. There was no message on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation at the time of publication of the information.
Meanwhile, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the ministers discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral relations, including the implementation of the provisions of the agreement signed on February 22 this year by presidents of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev of the Declaration on allied cooperation, as well as preparations for the celebration in April of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries.

An exchange of views took place on a number of regional and international subjects. The ministers reviewed the implementation of the key provisions of the top-level tripartite agreements of November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, as well as the issue of concluding a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The comparison of notes on the further work of the 3 + 3 Consultative Regional Platform (Azerbaijan - Armenia - Georgia + Russia - Iran - Turkey) was carried out. The heads of foreign affairs ministries touched upon the situation around Ukraine.
