


ArmInfo. According to preliminary data from the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia, the ruling party "Civil Contract" has won the local government elections in the Vagharshapat community, securing the votes of 15,298 voters. This is according to data from the Central Electoral Commission.
The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia noted that all polling stations closed at 8:00 PM. 45.12% of voters, or 31,527 people, participated in the vote. In the Vagharshapat community, 69,866 citizens are eligible to vote.
Thus, based on the vote count at all 47 polling stations, the "Victory" party received 10,051 votes; the "Pan- Armenian Front" party - 295; the "Republic" party - 1,241; The National Democratic Party "Mother Armenia" - 1,692; the Free Democrats Party - 1,177; the Heritage Party - 440; the Civil Contract Party - 15,298; and the Homeland Party - 1,193.
The elections were marred by numerous violations. Voters reported that unknown individuals were registered at their addresses. Furthermore, observers recorded crowds at polling stations and open voting. As is traditional, the power went out at a number of polling stations towards the end of the day.
