Iran`s President Orders Nuclear Talks with US

ArmInfo. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has ordered talks with the US on the nuclear issue. This was reported on Monday by the semi-official Fars News Agency, citing an unnamed government source.

Quoting a statement by Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei earlier in the day, Fars added that talks between Tehran and Washington will likely take place in Turkey in the next few days.

These developments come amid ongoing high tensions between Iran and the United States, as Washington intensifies its military activities in the Middle East. /Xinhua/
