ArmInfo. The Armenian Ministry of Defense reported the death of conscript Narek Hamletovich Hakobyan on the front lines.
"The body of serviceman Narek Hamletovich Hakobyan was found on February 26. An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident. The Ministry of Defense expresses its condolences and support to the family, relatives, and fellow servicemen of the serviceman," the Armenian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The Investigative Committee of Armenia, for its part, reported that one person has been detained in connection with the serviceman's death. No further details were provided.
Meanwhile, photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reported that the parents of serviceman Narek Hakobyan, who died on February 26 as a result of gunfire at a combat position in Vardenis, are abroad: his father is undergoing treatment, and his mother is caring for him.
